The Etsy Maine Team is a group of Maine artisans all selling their work on the online marketplace Etsy.com. The team supports, cross promotes, runs promotions, and often takes a few weeks a year to donate a portion of their sales to a worthy cause.
This month, 46 members of the Maine Team are taking one week and donating 15% of all their sales that week to Preble Street, in Portland. The Preble Street organization includes soup kitchens, drop-in shelters, a food pantry, social work services, supported housing, and many other resources for Maine people struggling with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty.
